Omg. The food is really good. Highly recommend. Our waitress did the best she could but it was the worst service. So incredibly slow and one waitress for the entire restaurant is a terrible idea. 20 min to get water. So sad that such great food and great atmosphere yet the owners can't figure out a better situation for wait staff. We should have been informed they were having issues before we sat down. Still a great spot.

We are originally from San Francisco and took a drive to Placer County. Our realtor Teresa recommended this place for dinner. We've now been here three times in the past 3 weeks and we love it. Dog friendly adorable outdoor patio. Food is excellent. Highly recommend this gem!

Our first time at Diego's and we really enjoyed our meals. The server was busy as the place was full but she was on her game and kept checking in and moving everything quickly. Charming location and tasty dishes. I had the fried Tilapia Fish Taco meal and loved it. Husband had the Fajita and it was different than traditional versions but perfectly prepared and delicious. Beef was perfectly cooked with a tasty sauce.

Excellent experience. Service was great. The food was fresh and exceptional. We went two nights in a row and both re-ordered the same dishes as the previous night!

This restaurant is Fabulous; the mother-daughter were extremely helpful. Our Church had a Mother's Day Luncheon at the Diego's in Grass Valley, CA. The appetizer's were sensational; as was the meal itself. Our waitress was on top of every thing. We give Diego's a 5Stars. Sylvia Sutfin

Panqueque is amazing! I'm not a huge fan of burrito and don't like chorizo that much either so I didn't think I'd like the Panqueque with grilled pineapple and chorizo. I decided to order it anyway since it's the most popular. BOY IT WAS DELICIOUS. I will definitely be back for that. Fish and shrimp tacos are good but not as special. Coconut flan was okay. Service is good and the ambiance is hippy and cute. Can't wait to go back!!

I loved this gem of a restaurant! I instantly fell in love with the charm of this place. The customer service here is amazing and I love the ambience especially out on the patio. It feels so home-y. I ordered the enchiladas and they were so hot and delicious. The food came out extremely quickly as well! I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I will definitely be back to this gem again and again when I'm in the area!!
